The museum will be open by appointment only for groups of 10 people or more, from Saturday March 25th, 2017 until the autumn.
Groups of 10 or more can book visits in advance, Monday to Friday, during the daytime or evening. there is a small fee per person. To book a visit please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The museum will reopen to the public on Saturdays when our new curator is in post.
We are situated at Essex Police Headquarters in Springfield Chelmsford.
Parking is available on Saturdays and for group visits during the week. Alternatively the nearest car park in the city is the Riverside car park.

City centre shopping has a wide variety of shops and restaurants and is a 20 minute walk from the museum.
